Conaut IFC300C 1811-3080

Description

Conaut IFC300C 1811-3080

The IFC300C is the hazardous area version signal converter for Conaut (Krohne Brazil) Optiflux series electromagnetic flow sensors, part number 1811-3080. This IFC300C is Ex certified electronics, compatible with Optiflux 1000 / 2000 / 4000 magmeter sensors, adopting Faraday electromagnetic induction principle to calculate flow rate, conductivity and medium temperature simultaneously. The suffix 1811-3080 defines enclosure material, power supply, output, communication, certification and firmware variant for this specific order code.

This IFC300C supports 24VDC power supply, standard 4-20mA with HART, pulse output and status relay contacts. It achieves measurement accuracy up to ±0.15%, with built-in continuous self-diagnosis for sensor coil, electrode and cable fault. It supports virtual reference function, which removes the requirement for grounding rings. It carries ATEX, IECEx, INMETRO hazardous approvals, IP67 aluminum or stainless steel housing. Commissioning and calibration are done via local keypad or HART communicator.

The IFC300C 1811-3080 is widely used in water treatment, chemical plants, oil & gas and power plant conductive liquid metering loops, including custody transfer applications with OIML certification. Conaut IFC300 is a mature local Krohne platform for South America projects. Many instrument maintenance teams stock the IFC300C 1811-3080 as spare converter for magmeter overhaul and emergency replacement.
