Alpha AWR10M

The AWR10M is a round hazardous area junction box manufactured by Alpha Equipamentos Elétricos (Brazilian Alpha-EX). This AWR10M is cast copper-free aluminum enclosure, designed for field wiring splice and instrument cable termination in explosive atmosphere zones. The suffix M stands for modified version or thread configuration variant.

This AWR10M is certified for ATEX, IECEx, INMETRO, suitable for gas group IIA, IIB, IIC, Zone 1/2 and dust Zone 21/22. Protection rating IP66 / IP66W, equipped with neoprene sealing gasket, stainless steel Allen locking screws. Thread ports support NPT or BSP thread options from 1/2 inch up to 2 inch for cable glands entry. It does not contain built-in I/O or electronic circuits, only serves as wiring pass-through housing.

The AWR10M is widely used in refineries, chemical plants, oil & gas and power plant SIS, fire detection and instrument field cable loops. Alpha-EX is a mature Brazilian hazardous electrical enclosure brand. Many South America EPC and maintenance teams stock the AWR10M as spare junction box for field instrument wiring overhaul and replacement.
