Alstom 24/48VDC 60W 18V 1A

This is an isolated DC-DC converter power supply module for Alstom protection relay and control cabinet, wide input 24–48VDC, rated power 60W, fixed output 18VDC 1A. This module accepts wide-range battery bus voltage from 24V or 48V DC backup power loop in substation, converts and stabilizes to 18V for relay logic, signal board and small auxiliary circuit power feeding.

This 24/48VDC 60W 18V 1A converter features reverse polarity protection, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit lockout protection. Built-in isolation barrier separates battery bus and secondary control circuit to reduce ground loop interference. LED indicators display power OK and fault status. It adopts DIN rail or rack plug-in mounting, designed for continuous 24-hour operation in substation relay panels. It is commonly matched with Alstom MiCOM protection relay series.

This power module is widely used in power grid substation, power plant relay protection cabinet, fed by station DC battery system. This legacy Alstom power supply is discontinued. Most available units are tested surplus spare parts for relay cabinet overhaul and emergency power replacement.
