Schneider SEPAM T82 59734HX 24/250VCC

The SEPAM T82 59734HX is a transformer protection relay from Schneider Sepam Series 80, auxiliary supply 24–250V DC (VCC = courant continu). This T82 is dedicated for medium and high voltage power transformer protection, covering ANSI 50/51 phase overcurrent, 50N/51N earth fault, 49 thermal overload, 87T differential, 59 overvoltage, 27 undervoltage and inrush restraint functions. The suffix HX stands for hardware revision and conformal coated PCB variant for harsh cabinet environments.

This 59734HX supports configurable binary inputs, trip and alarm output relays, breaker control and interlock logic. It includes fault recording, disturbance oscillography, SOE sequence of events and setting group switching. It works with Sepam UMI human-machine interface, communicates via Modbus or IEC 60870-5-103 to SCADA and bay controllers. Logic programming can be realized by Logipam ladder editor for custom bay interlock schemes. Commissioning and parameter setup are completed with SepamTool software.

The SEPAM T82 is widely deployed in industrial substations, power plant transformer bays for main transformer and auxiliary transformer protection. Sepam Series 80 is discontinued by Schneider, gradually replaced by Easergy T300. Most available 59734HX units are tested surplus spare parts for transformer protection cabinet overhaul and emergency relay replacement.
