Schneider Masterpact NW12H1 1250A Uimp 12kV

The NW12H1 is a drawout air circuit breaker frame from Schneider Masterpact NW series, rated continuous current 1250A, rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp=12kV, suitable for 50/60Hz low voltage distribution circuits. This NW12H1 supports 3-pole or 4-pole configuration, H1 defines breaking capacity grade. It is a bare frame, which needs to be equipped with Micrologic electronic trip unit to realize overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and earth fault protection.

This NW12H1 adopts spring stored-energy operating mechanism, withdrawable design with connected, test and isolated positions for safe maintenance without disconnecting busbars. It can be fitted with motor operator, auxiliary contacts, shunt trip and undervoltage release for remote electrical closing and tripping. Optional communication modules support Modbus to upload measurement data, fault records and breaker status to SCADA and energy management systems. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard.

The NW12H1 is widely used in industrial substations, power plants and large commercial low voltage switchrooms for main incoming and bus tie protection. The Masterpact NW series is discontinued by Schneider and replaced by MTZ series. Most available NW12H1 units are tested surplus spare parts for legacy panel overhaul and emergency replacement.
