Description
Voith 24VDC I/H converter DSG series
The DSG is the mainstream Voith electro-hydraulic I/H converter (current-to-pressure converter) widely powered by 24VDC, mainly used for turbine governor, steam turbine and gas turbine control systems. This DSG receives 4–20mA analog control signal and converts it into proportional hydraulic pressure output to drive hydraulic actuator and steam control valve. The supply specification is 24VDC (+10% / -15%), typical consumption approx 0.7A, peak 3A. The DSG version adopts IP65 enclosure, suitable for turbine oil loop installation.
This DSG includes built-in position feedback, fault monitoring and pressure regulation function. It supports high dynamic response for turbine speed regulation, load control and valve position closed-loop. The matching DSM dual redundant version is also 24VDC supplied, designed for high-reliability power plant turbine control loops. Common part numbers include DSG-B07112, DSG-B07113. The 24VDC coil is also used on Voith WSR hydraulic directional valves and HS4 series hydraulic control amplifiers.
The DSG 24VDC converter is widely deployed in thermal power plants, hydroelectric units and compressor control skids. The Voith turbine control hydraulic components are mature special parts for power industry. Most available spare units are tested surplus for overhaul and emergency replacement of legacy turbine governing systems.
