AS-BADU-205 | Schneider Modicon Compact 4-channel RTD Thermal Resistance Specialized Analog Input Module
Description
Model Interpretation
BADU = Analog Input (Analog Input); 205 = 4-channel RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) temperature measurement specification; 201 is for single pressure, 202 is bipolar, and 206 is for thermocouple applications. Technical Specifications
Channel Configuration: 4 independent thermal resistance inputs, single-slot Eurocard slot
Sensor Compatibility: PT100 (-200~+600℃), Cu50 (-50~+150℃), supports 2-wire/3-wire RTD system
AD Specifications: 12-bit A/D conversion, temperature measurement comprehensive accuracy ±0.3% FS; single-channel conversion < 80ms (50Hz), < 66ms (60Hz)
Power Supply Parameters: Backplane 5V bus power extraction, module power consumption < 50mA, built-in sensor excitation constant current source, no external temperature measurement power supply required
Dimensions: 58 (W) × 267 (H) × 165 (D) mm, net weight ≈ 0.45kg
Environmental Specifications: Operating 0~60℃, storage - 40~85℃, humidity < 80% RH without condensation, IP20 cabinet installation
Interface and Matching Base
Unified wiring terminal base AS-8535-000, compatible with BADU-201/202/204, B884/B885 full series module bases, 4-channel independent terminal partition.
Core Function
Built-in precise constant current excitation, automatically converts thermal resistance resistance → temperature value; fault diagnosis for open circuit; panel power, channel, fault three-color LED indicators; PLC backplane register direct reading of temperature value, hardware dip switch switching PT100/Cu50 specifications; built-in power frequency filtering, suppresses inverter interference. Applicable scenarios
Chemical tank / pipeline temperature measurement, thermoplastic extruder barrel temperature control, boiler furnace auxiliary machine water temperature collection, HVAC chiller unit temperature measurement, old production line heat treatment furnace temperature monitoring.
Operation and Maintenance
Insert directly into the Modicon Compact standard I/O slot; for temperature measurement deviation, prioritize checking the wiring of the three-wire thermoresistance compensation line; the BADU-201/202 cannot be directly replaced (no constant current source, unable to measure RTD); the same chassis can be mixed with thermocouple card BADU-206 and high-speed counting module B984-101.
