ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02
Description
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02
Overview
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 is the gate drive / power interface board for Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex 753 / PowerFlex 755 series variable frequency drives, matching the 75kW to 110kW frame range. It is a critical intermediate board between the drive control core and IGBT power modules, widely supplied as exchange spare for PowerFlex 750 series VFD cabinet overhaul and power stage replacement.
Features
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 receives PWM pulse commands from the main control board, amplifies and isolates these signals to drive the power IGBT bridge. It integrates phase current sampling, DC bus voltage detection and power semiconductor temperature monitoring circuits, providing fast feedback signals for overcurrent, ground fault, IGBT desaturation and overheat protection. ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 includes snubber and surge suppression components to suppress high-frequency switching noise and voltage spikes, protecting power devices from transient damage. It communicates fault status and real-time operating data back to the drive main controller, and fault codes, run history can be read through DriveExplorer and DriveExecutive service software. It supports safe torque off function and complies with CE, UL and EMC standards for cabinet installation with IP20 rating.
Specs
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02Platform: Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex 753 / PowerFlex 755 (750 series) Type: gate drive power interface board Matching power frame: 75kW ~ 110kW Function: PWM signal isolation and amplification, current sensing, temperature detection, IGBT protection Interface: signal connector to control board, power connector to IGBT module Mounting: fixed on the heat sink inside the VFD cabinet Enclosure rating: IP20 This is not a control board, HMI or communication adapter; it is the dedicated gate drive power interface board for the PowerFlex 750 power stage. ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 is widely supplied as service replacement spare for drive power stage and gate circuit failure.
Principle
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 converts low-voltage PWM logic signals from the control board into high-drive-capability gate pulses to switch the three-phase IGBT module, generating variable-frequency AC output for the motor. The built-in current and temperature sensors continuously monitor power loop operating conditions. If abnormal conditions are detected, the board immediately blocks all gate pulses and sends fault signals to the drive CPU to trigger safe shutdown. Fault records are stored for maintenance root cause analysis.
Applications
ALLEN BRADLEY 333080-A02 is deployed for fan, pump, conveyor, compressor and process machinery equipped with PowerFlex 753 and PowerFlex 755 drives. It is selected for spare inventory and VFD cabinet retrofit projects for existing PowerFlex 750 series variable frequency drive systems.
