ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001
Description
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001
Overview
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 is the operator control panel for the ABB ACS500 medium voltage drive series. It serves as the local human-machine interface for drive parameter setup, running monitoring, manual operation and fault diagnosis, and it is commonly supplied as exchange spare for ACS500 medium voltage drive cabinet overhaul and replacement.
Features
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 is equipped with a backlit LCD display and physical function keypad, supporting local start, stop and reset commands for the medium voltage converter. It displays real-time operating data including motor current, voltage, frequency, power, temperature and running status, and presents fault codes, alarm messages and trip history for maintenance review. ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 communicates with the ACS500 main control unit via dedicated internal drive bus. All protection thresholds, acceleration and deceleration ramps, control modes and I/O mapping can be edited locally on the panel. It supports parameter upload and download for backup and quick replacement commissioning. The front LED indicators show power, communication status and active alarms for fast on-site inspection. It conforms to EMC and CE standards, with IP20 front protection rating for cabinet door mounting.
Specs
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001Platform: ABB ACS500 medium voltage variable frequency drive Type: local operator panel Order code: 1SBP260151R1001 Display: backlit LCD Operation: start, stop, reset, parameter configuration Communication: internal drive bus to ACS500 control board Mounting: panel door installation Protection rating: IP20 This is not a power board, control board or I/O module; it is the dedicated HMI keypad unit for ACS500 MV drive. ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 is widely supplied as service replacement spare for drive operation interface failure.
Principle
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 sends operator commands and parameter modifications to the ACS500 main controller over the internal bus. It receives real-time operating variables and fault information from the drive control core and refreshes the screen display continuously. When a trip event occurs, the panel captures and stores fault records. If bus communication is lost between the panel and drive controller, the panel raises a communication alarm and local operation functions become unavailable.
Applications
ABB TC50-2 1SBP260151R1001 is deployed for large fan, pump, compressor and conveyor medium voltage drive systems in power plants, water treatment plants, mining and chemical facilities. It is selected for spare inventory and drive cabinet retrofit projects for existing ABB ACS500 MV converters.
