Overview

ADOS T060E2 is a high-precision electronic weight transmitter from ADOS (Italy), T060E2 is the hardware revision variant of the T060E weighing amplifier series. It is a DIN rail mount load cell signal conditioning and conversion instrument, widely supplied as exchange spare for batching, packaging, crane overload protection and material weighing cabinet overhaul.

Features

ADOS T060E2 supports connection for up to 8 load cells (350Ω), with 24-bit high-resolution ADC and stable weighing accuracy up to 0.02 µV resolution. It provides dual isolated serial ports, supporting RS232 and RS485 interfaces, compatible with Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS DP and PROFINET optional communication versions for connection to PLC, HMI and SCADA systems. ADOS T060E2 integrates 5 programmable relay outputs plus one dedicated safety relay output for overload, underload, zero and limit alarm, and two opto-isolated digital inputs for tare, zero reset and hold functions. It carries one configurable analog output supporting 0–10V or 4–20mA for continuous weight value transmission to analog loop indicators and controllers. ADOS T060E2 is equipped with a 6-digit LED display and front keypad for on-site calibration, span adjustment, tare setting and parameter backup. It supports automatic tare, peak weight hold, totalization and overload safety functions, and can be used as a safety component conforming to EN 954-1 category 1 when configured for lifting overload protection. It records weight alarm events and diagnostic logs for remote asset management. It complies with CE and EMC industrial standards, IP40 front protection rating.

Principle

ADOS T060E2 supplies excitation voltage to strain gauge load cells and samples the mV/V differential signal generated by load force. The internal high-resolution ADC converts the weak analog signal into digital weight value, and the firmware performs linearization, temperature compensation and tare offset calculation. Weight data is transmitted over serial bus to the PLC, while the analog channel outputs proportional 4–20mA or 0–10V signal. When weight exceeds configured threshold, the relay outputs trigger local alarm or safety interlock. If load cell disconnection, short circuit or signal drift is detected, the transmitter raises diagnostic alarms and locks related control actions.

ADOS T060E2 is deployed for batch weighing stations, silo weight monitoring, overhead crane overload protection, belt scale, filler machine and packaging weighing lines in food, chemical, construction material and logistics plants. It is selected for spare inventory and cabinet retrofit projects for existing ADOS T060E weighing measurement systems.
