WEG SSW900 SSW900D0312T5E3 312A 250cv

The SSW900D0312T5E3 is a digital soft starter from WEG SSW900 series, rated current 312A, suitable for 250cv three-phase induction motor, supply voltage 380–575V AC. This SSW900D0312T5E3 adopts SCR phase voltage regulation to realize smooth ramp-up and ramp-down, reducing starting current surge and mechanical shock on pumps, fans and conveyors. The letter D represents frame size D, T5 stands for 380–575V voltage class, E3 defines hardware configuration and communication option version.

This unit integrates built-in bypass contactor, after finishing soft start, the bypass closes to bypass SCR modules, lowering heat generation and extending service life. It supports torque control, pump anti-water-hammer function, motor thermal overload, overcurrent, phase loss, unbalance and SCR fault protection. It has programmable digital inputs and relay outputs, optional communication cards for Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP. It carries embedded SoftPLC, logic programming is available via WPS software. The detachable graphic HMI supports local parameter setting, event log and fault record checking, commissioning and backup are done with WEG WPS software. It supports standard 3-wire connection and inside-delta 6-wire connection.

The SSW900D0312T5E3 is widely used in water treatment, mining, power plant auxiliary pump and fan, cement plant and industrial HVAC motor starting control. SSW900 is WEG’s current mainstream soft starter platform. Many automation and electrical maintenance teams stock this model as spare for panel retrofit and emergency replacement.
