1. Product Overview

The IOM4‑1 (also written IOM4.1, manufactured by DEIF A/S) is a high‑density combined input/output module for the Delomatic 4 (DM‑4) modular control system. It serves as the primary interface between the DM‑4 controller and field devices, providing analogue/digital I/O for power generation, marine, and industrial automation applications.
Designed for harsh environments, the module offers galvanic isolation, configurable analogue inputs, and hot‑swap capability, enabling reliable operation in land‑based power plants, marine vessels, and CHP systems.

2. Key Features

  • 40‑Channel Multi‑I/O: 16 analogue inputs, 16 digital inputs, 2 frequency inputs, 4 analogue outputs, 4 digital outputs.

  • Configurable Analogue Inputs: DIP‑switch selectable binary, 0–10 V, or 4–20 mA per channel.

  • Galvanic Isolation: 2.5 kV AC isolation between field and system bus.

  • Hot‑Swappable: Replaceable without system shutdown (DM‑4 rack compatible).

  • Rotary Address Switch: Sets I/O station address (0–15).

  • LED Status Indicators: Power, communication, and channel diagnostics.

  • Marine & Industrial Certified: CE, DNV‑GL, ABS compliant.

  • Wide Operating Temperature: –20 °C to +70 °C.
