DU-2/MKII

Description

1. Product Overview

DU-2/MKII is the MKII upgraded second-generation divided-potential electrochemical trace oxygen sensor.
Optimized with improved electrolyte formula and enhanced anti-poisoning structure, it is specially designed for
ppm-level ultra-low oxygen concentration detection. It features lower zero drift, faster response, superior
temperature adaptability and long-term operational stability. Adopting standard DU concentric ring interface,
it is fully compatible with DPD series mounting bases, DIM5-1 signal conversion modules and
DELOMATIC-3/DGU1 control units. Widely applied in industrial inert gas monitoring, semiconductor fabrication,
laboratory glove boxes and professional trace oxygen analysis instruments.

5. Installation and Operation Instructions

5.1 Installation Requirements

  1. Install vertically with gas inlet upward; keep the air inlet unobstructed.

  2. Use matched DPD dedicated base; insert vertically in place without forced twisting.

  3. Adopt sealed gas path connection; PTFE tubing is recommended.

  4. Recommended gas flow rate: 200~500 mL/min; avoid excessive airflow impact.

  5. Keep away from high temperature heat sources, strong vibration and corrosive gas environments.

5.2 Warm-up and Calibration

  1. Power on and warm up for 10–15 minutes before calibration and formal measurement.

  2. Zero Calibration: Apply high-purity nitrogen (0 ppm O₂) to complete zero point calibration.

  3. Span Calibration: Use standard low-oxygen calibration gas for span adjustment.

  4. Recalibration is required when ambient temperature or working conditions change greatly.

6. Safety Precautions

  1. This sensor is non-explosion-proof; do not use in flammable and explosive hazardous areas.

  2. Prevent condensed water, oil mist and dust from entering the air inlet.

  3. Take ESD protection measures during handling and installation.

  4. Do not disassemble the sensor housing privately to avoid electrolyte leakage and permanent failure.

  5. Avoid long-term exposure to strong corrosive gases such as SO₂, Cl₂ and H₂S.

7. Maintenance and Storage

  1. Perform zero and span calibration regularly every 3–6 months according to service conditions.

  2. Keep the air inlet filter clean; replace the filter once blocked or contaminated.

  3. Store in sealed original package at 10~30°C, 30%~70% RH in a cool and dry place.

  4. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humid stacked storage.

8. Troubleshooting
