Overview

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MP-C-15A (official part SXWMPC15A10001) is a SpaceLogic MP-C series BACnet/IP field controller for EcoStruxure building automation systems. It is a 15-point integrated I/O programmable IP controller, designed for room-level HVAC, lighting and fan coil control. It supports daisy-chain Ethernet connection and can be expanded with additional I/O modules, widely used as replacement spare for commercial building BMS control cabinets.

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MP-C-15A integrates 8 universal I/O channels, 6 triac digital outputs and 1 high-power relay output. The universal points can be configured for digital input, analog 0–10 V / 4–20 mA input or 0–10 V analog output. It has dual 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet ports with RSTP for flexible network topology, and communicates natively via BACnet/IP. It supports SpaceLogic smart sensor bus for direct connection to room sensors. The unit is powered by 24 VAC / 24–30 VDC wide-range supply, with 22 VA or 12 W power consumption. It allows up to 3 expansion modules to extend control capacity. The DIN-rail housing is IP20 protected and equipped with screw terminal blocks for reliable wiring. Principle

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MP-C-15A executes user building control logic cyclically. It reads room temperature, humidity, occupancy and setpoint signals from universal I/O and smart sensors, then drives triac and relay outputs to control valves, dampers and lighting. It exchanges real-time status and alarm data with the EcoStruxure server or supervisory controllers over BACnet/IP Ethernet. The embedded clock maintains schedule logic for automatic setback and occupancy control.
