Overview

SIEMENS 3VT3763-2AA36-0AA0 is a 3-pole 3VT3 frame molded case circuit breaker base unit (without trip unit) of Siemens Sentron 3VT series. 3VT9300-3HA20 is the matching motor operator accessory for this breaker. The combination forms a remote electric-operated MCCB for low-voltage feeder distribution. This is a discontinued legacy assembly, widely used as spare replacement for old Siemens distribution cabinets.

It supports standard AC control voltage options, with built-in limit switch feedback to indicate breaker ON/OFF status to PLC and SCADA. The motor operator can be installed without modifying the breaker power terminals. SIEMENS 3VT3763-2AA36-0AA0 + 3VT9300-3HA20 supports padlock lockout on the local handle for LOTO maintenance. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard. The successor model series is Siemens 3VA.

Principle

SIEMENS 3VT3763-2AA36-0AA0 carries the main power contact and arc extinguishing structure. The matching 3VT9300-3HA20 motor operator receives remote control signals, drives the breaker internal mechanism to complete closing and opening action. The separately fitted electronic trip unit continuously monitors three-phase current and executes overload, short-circuit protection tripping when abnormal. The limit switch of motor operator feeds back breaker status to the control system.
