Overview

DELTA VFD004DD21S is a dedicated elevator door drive inverter of Delta VFD-DD series. DELTA VFD004DD21S is designed for elevator door motor control, supporting both induction motor and permanent magnet door motor, with built-in door curve logic and anti-pinch detection function. DELTA VFD004DD21S is widely used for elevator cabinet assembly and door system spare replacement.

DELTA VFD004DD21S is single-phase 230V input, rated 0.4kW (0.5HP), 2.5A constant torque output. It integrates dedicated door control algorithm, adjustable opening/closing speed curve, soft start and soft stop to reduce door impact. It supports encoder feedback closed-loop position control and current-based anti-pinch protection, which triggers reverse opening when obstacle is detected. Principle

DELTA VFD004DD21S receives door open/close commands from elevator main controller. The internal special door drive algorithm outputs variable frequency voltage to drive the door motor. It follows preset speed profile to complete slow start, constant speed, slow deceleration and stop. It monitors motor current and encoder position signal in real time. If abnormal current surge is detected, the drive judges obstacle and reverses the door direction to realize anti-pinch safety protection. Relay and digital feedback signals return door status to elevator main controller.
