Principle
The SCHNEIDER HMISTU855 exchanges real-time data with the connected PLC or controller through communication ports. It reads sensor values, running status and fault codes to display on graphic screens. Operators touch the screen to send setpoint, start, stop and reset commands to the control system. The SCHNEIDER HMISTU855 records alarm events and recipe data locally, and uploads logs via USB or network when needed. It will trigger communication warning signal if the link with the controller is interrupted.
Applications
The SCHNEIDER HMISTU855 is used for packaging machines, textile equipment, conveyor systems and small process skid operation panels. It serves local monitoring and parameter adjustment for water treatment, HVAC and food processing automation. The SCHNEIDER HMISTU855 applies to spare stock and field replacement of existing Harmony STU HMI installations. It also supports retrofitting upgrade of legacy machine operator terminals.
