Siemens 3WL1108-3CB31-1AA4-Z 800A 690V

The 3WL1108-3CB31-1AA4-Z is a SENTRON 3WL1 frame size 1 withdrawable air circuit breaker, rated continuous current 800A, rated operational voltage up to 690V AC, 50/60Hz. This 3WL1108 is 3-pole design, equipped with ETU electronic trip unit supporting LSI or LSIG adjustable protection for overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and earth fault protection. The suffix Z stands for special custom variant according to project requirement.

This 3WL1108-3CB31-1AA4-Z adopts spring stored-energy operating mechanism, withdrawable cradle with connected, test and isolated positions for safe maintenance without busbar disconnection. It can be fitted with motor operator, auxiliary contacts, shunt trip and undervoltage release for remote electrical closing and tripping. Optional communication modules support PROFIBUS DP, Modbus RTU to upload power measurement, fault logs and breaker status to SCADA and energy management systems. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard.

The 3WL series is phased out by Siemens and replaced by the newer 3WA platform. Most available 3WL1108-3CB31-1AA4-Z units are tested surplus spare parts for legacy low voltage switchgear overhaul and emergency replacement. The Z custom parameter must be confirmed before spare swapping to avoid function mismatch.
