Siemens 32-3150/3 3150A 3-pole withdrawable air circuit breaker LSI LSIG protection low voltage main incoming breaker

Description

Siemens 32-3150/3 3150A

The 32-3150/3 is a 3-pole withdrawable air circuit breaker from the older Siemens low voltage breaker series, rated continuous current 3150A, designed for low voltage main distribution switchboards. This 32-3150/3 is equipped with electronic trip unit, supporting LSI or LSIG adjustable protection functions including overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and earth fault protection. The suffix /3 stands for 3-pole configuration, and 32 represents the frame code while 3150 corresponds to the 3150A rated current.

This 32-3150/3 adopts spring stored-energy operating mechanism, supporting local manual operation and optional motor operator for remote electrical closing and tripping. It has connected, test and isolated positions for safe maintenance without removing busbar connections. It can be fitted with auxiliary contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release and communication modules to upload measured data, fault records and breaker status to SCADA and energy management systems. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard.

The 32-3150/3 is widely used in industrial substations, power plants and large factory low voltage distribution systems. This legacy breaker model is discontinued by Siemens, replaced by newer 3WL and 3WA series. Most available 32-3150/3 units are tested surplus spare parts for panel overhaul and emergency replacement of old distribution cabinets.
