The 7SJ6001-2DA00-0DA0/BB is a SIPROTEC 4 7SJ600 numerical overcurrent protection relay for feeders and motor protection. This 7SJ6001 supports phase overcurrent, earth fault, negative sequence overcurrent, thermal overload and locked-rotor protection. The suffix BB denotes hardware revision, which defines PCB layout, component version and firmware compatibility. It supports definite-time and multiple inverse-time characteristic curves for IEC / ANSI network requirements.

This relay runs on 24–250V DC/AC power, equipped with isolated RS485 communication and IEC 60870-5-103 protocol for DCS and SCADA interconnection. It includes three-pole auto-reclosing, trip circuit supervision, fault event logging and 8-channel disturbance waveform capture. Local keypad and LCD display enable on-site setting review and status check. Configuration and commissioning are completed via DIGSI 4 software. IP51 cabinet protection rating, designed for industrial distribution, power plant and mining feeder protection.

The 7SJ6001-2DA00-0DA0/BB is widely used in radial distribution feeders, pump and fan motor safety backup protection. The classic 7SJ600 series is discontinued by Siemens, replaced by 7SJ80 series. Most available units are tested surplus spare parts for legacy protection cabinet overhaul and emergency relay replacement. Revision matching is required during spare swap to avoid compatibility issues.
