The 3WL1110-2BB72-4BN2 is a fixed-mounted air circuit breaker from Siemens SENTRON 3WL series, frame size I, rated current 1000A, rated operational voltage up to 690V AC. This 3WL1110-2BB72-4BN2 is a 4-pole version, equipped with ETU electronic trip unit supporting LSI adjustable protection functions including overload, short-time delay and instantaneous short-circuit protection, suitable for low voltage main incoming, bus tie and heavy feeder protection. The 2BB72 defines breaking capacity, connection type and trip unit configuration; 4BN2 defines pole count, auxiliary contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release and other accessory options of this specific variant.

This 3WL1110-2BB72-4BN2 adopts rear horizontal busbar connection, spring stored-energy operating mechanism, supporting local manual operation and optional remote electrical closing and tripping. It can be fitted with optional communication module for CubicleBUS, Modbus to upload measured data, fault records and status information to SCADA and energy management systems. Built-in diagnostic function records trip codes and fault waveforms for fast troubleshooting. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard.

The 3WL1110-2BB72-4BN2 is widely used in industrial substations, power plants and large commercial low voltage switchboards. The SENTRON 3WL platform has been superseded by the newer 3WA series, and original production of this 3WL model is discontinued.
