GE IS215WEPAH2BB

The IS215WEPAH2BB is the WEPA wind energy pitch axis I/O pack for GE Speedtronic Mark VIe / Mark VIeS turbine and wind turbine control system. This IS215WEPAH2BB is dedicated for pitch control loop of wind turbine blades, sending drive commands and collecting pitch motor feedback signals to realize blade angle closed-loop regulation. The suffix H2BB defines hardware revision, PCB layout and conformal coating configuration for this variant.

This IS215WEPAH2BB communicates with Mark VIe controller via IONet bus, supports simplex and TMR redundant rack layout. It integrates channel fault diagnosis, open circuit and short circuit detection, front LED indicators show module health, communication and channel alarm status. Conformal coated PCB is standard to resist dust, moisture and temperature fluctuation in wind turbine cabinet. It works with matching terminal boards for field wiring connection to pitch servo drives and position feedback sensors. Commissioning and fault viewing are completed via ToolboxST software.
