GE GA32NA 3200A

The GA32NA is a withdrawable air circuit breaker (ACB) from GE EntelliGuard G series, rated continuous current 3200A, suitable for low voltage main distribution systems up to 690V AC. This GA32NA supports 3-pole or 4-pole configuration, fitted with EntelliGuard TU electronic trip unit with adjustable LSI / LSIG protection for overload, short-time short-circuit, instantaneous short-circuit and earth fault protection. The suffix NA defines the voltage class, breaking capacity and mechanical accessory configuration of this variant.

This GA32NA adopts draw-out rack design, with safety isolation position, test position and connected position for safe maintenance without removing busbar connections. It integrates power metering, event log, fault waveform recording and self-diagnostic functions. Optional communication modules support Modbus, Profibus and IEC 61850 to upload status, measurement and alarm data to SCADA and energy management systems. It can be equipped with motor operator, shunt trip, undervoltage release and auxiliary contact sets for remote electrical closing and tripping.

The GA32NA is widely used as main incoming breaker, bus tie coupler in industrial substations, power plants and large commercial low voltage switchrooms. The EntelliGuard G series has been discontinued by GE. Most available GA32NA 3200A units are tested surplus spare parts for cabinet overhaul and emergency replacement of legacy GE low voltage distribution switchgear.
