GE IS200VRTDH1D Mark VI Speedtronic 16-channel 3-wire RTD VME input board for turbine temperature monitoring

Description

GE IS200VRTDH1D

The IS200VRTDH1D is a VME-format RTD temperature input board (VRTD) for GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system, supporting 16 channels of 3-wire RTD sensors for thermal monitoring. This IS200VRTDH1D provides 10mA excitation current for RTD probes, carries out signal conditioning and 14-bit A/D conversion, and sends converted digital temperature data to the main controller via the VME backplane bus. The IS200VRTDH1D does not directly connect field sensors; it links to matching TRTD / DRTD terminal boards through dedicated molded cables.

This IS200VRTDH1D is coated with conformal coating to resist dust and moisture in cabinet environments. Three front-panel LED indicators display running, fault and status information for fast on-site diagnosis. It tracks critical temperature points including generator windings, bearings, turbine casing and lube oil, feeding temperature data to the control logic for over-temperature alarm, protection trip and trend recording. The IS200VRTDH1D works with TMR triple redundant architecture to meet the high reliability requirement of gas and steam turbine control.

The IS200VRTDH1D is widely deployed in power plant gas turbines, steam turbines and generator excitation packages. The Mark VI Speedtronic platform including this IS200VRTDH1D has been discontinued. Most available IS200VRTDH1D units are tested surplus spare parts for cabinet overhaul and emergency replacement of legacy turbine monitoring systems.
