Description

3500 represents Bently Nevada standard machinery monitoring product family. /05 stands for system rack chassis component. Standard ordering suffix defines physical specifications: -01 for 14-slot full-size 19-inch rack, -02 for 7-slot compact 12-inch rack; mounting options include panel mount, standard rack mount and bulkhead mount available only for full-size version.

Backplane and Power Distribution
Internal proprietary backplane realizes inter-module high-speed digital communication and regulated power routing. System operating power originates from externally installed power supply modules with nominal 24VDC input requirement. First two leftmost positions are fixed for power supply module and system interface module respectively, remaining slots reserve for various monitoring and signal conditioning modules.

Operating ambient temperature ranges from -20°C to +60°C, storage temperature covers -40°C to +70°C. Designed to meet IEC 60068 anti-shock and anti-vibration criteria for field installation. Certified with UL, CE and CSA industrial safety approvals.

Usage & Maintenance
Complete rack fixation with selected mounting method first, then install power module at slot one and interface module at slot two before inserting other monitoring modules sequentially. Complete rear terminal wiring for field sensors, external power and system communication circuits. Perform regular annual inspection of backplane connectors and internal cleanliness.
