Overview

MEASUREMENT RESOURCES PT LTD MF200E is a metal tube variable area flowmeter (rotameter) with magnetic coupling, designed for low-flow measurement of gas, liquid and steam. This unit is commonly configured for nitrogen service with 1/2" NPT female connection and 0–4.8 Nl/min measuring range, max working pressure 2 bar. It is widely supplied as process MRO spare for gas monitoring and dosing loops.

Features

MEASUREMENT RESOURCES PT LTD MF200E adopts 316 stainless steel wetted body and magnetic coupling indication without penetrating shaft seals, eliminating leakage risk. Standard accuracy is ±2% FS, with optional ±1.6% FS high precision version. It supports multiple connection types including NPT, BSP and flange, and scale can be calibrated in Nl/min, l/h, m³/h, kg/h or percentage. The housing is rated IP66 / IP68, suitable for washdown and outdoor field installation. It can be equipped with optional limit switch or 4–20mA transmitter for remote signal output to PLC and SCADA. The mechanical structure requires no external power supply for local flow reading.

Principle

MEASUREMENT RESOURCES PT LTD MF200E works on variable area principle. When fluid flows upward through the tapered tube, the float rises until the buoyancy and drag force balance the float weight. The internal float position is transmitted to the external pointer via magnetic coupling, and the pointer indicates volumetric flow rate on the scale. Optional sensors detect float position and convert it into analog or switch signals for remote control and alarm.
