SCHNEIDER LV480405 Product Description

Overview

SCHNEIDER LV480405 is a FuPact INFD63 fuse switch disconnector, 3-pole, 63A, front operated, for DIN NH000 size fuses. It combines load switching and short-circuit protection by accommodating NH000 cartridge fuses, and provides visible isolation for safe maintenance of low-voltage distribution circuits. This model is end-of-life and widely stocked as legacy MRO spare for power distribution cabinets.

Features

SCHNEIDER LV480405 supports front rotary operation with lockable handle for padlock safety interlock in OFF position. It accepts standard NH000 size fuses to achieve short-circuit and overload protection. Transparent viewing window allows visual inspection of fuse status without opening the unit. It is designed for vertical or horizontal mounting and fits standard low-voltage panel layouts. The device meets IEC 60947-3 standards for switch-disconnectors, with high dielectric strength and industrial EMC immunity. It can be equipped with auxiliary contact accessories for remote status feedback to PLC or SCADA systems.

Specs

Brand: SCHNEIDER Model: LV480405 Product series: FuPact INFD Product category: Fuse switch disconnector Poles: 3P Rated current: 63 A Fuse size: NH000 Operation: Front rotary handle, padlockable Standard: IEC 60947-3 Mounting: DIN rail / panel mount Lifecycle: Discontinued Replacement: New FuPact INF series fuse switch disconnector

Principle

SCHNEIDER LV480405 mechanically connects or disconnects the main circuit through the front handle. When the handle is switched ON, the internal contactor closes and passes load current through the installed NH000 fuse. If overload or short-circuit occurs, the fuse blows to cut off the fault current. The switch provides reliable isolation gap after opening, so downstream circuits can be safely serviced. Auxiliary contacts transmit ON/OFF status signals to control systems.

Applications

SCHNEIDER LV480405 is used for feeder isolation and fuse protection in low-voltage distribution. Typical applications include factory main distribution panels, MCC control cabinets, pump and fan power supply circuits, building electrical rooms, and spare replacement for existing FuPact INFD installations.
