Features

PANASONIC MFDDTB3A2 is a standard multi-function analog/pulse type servo amplifier with 1kHz frequency response. It supports three main control modes: position, speed, torque, plus full-closed control with external linear scale feedback. It can accept pulse train commands from PLC motion controller, or 0–10V analog signal for speed/torque setting. PANASONIC MFDDTB3A2 supports serial communication for parameter setup and monitoring via PANATERM software. This model does not have built-in STO safety function. It has built-in alarm detection for overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, encoder fault and overspeed, with alarm code display on front panel. It is equipped with fan cooling for continuous heavy-duty operation, and can be matched with corresponding MINAS A4 5kW servo motor.

Principle

PANASONIC MFDDTB3A2 receives position, speed or torque command signal from upper controller. It samples encoder feedback signal from servo motor and calculates deviation. The internal high-speed servo algorithm adjusts PWM output to drive the motor and achieve closed-loop motion control. In full-closed mode, it reads external linear scale signal to eliminate ball screw backlash and deformation error for higher positioning accuracy. It monitors operating status continuously and triggers alarm and servo shutdown when faults are detected.
