Overview

The GE Record Plus FASHTU 430855 is a shunt trip accessory for GE Record Plus FD, FE, FG molded case circuit breakers. It triggers breaker opening upon receiving remote energized trip command, widely stocked as spare for fire alarm, emergency shutdown and low voltage distribution systems.

Features

This FASHTU shunt coil fits inside the dedicated accessory compartment of Record Plus MCCBs. The 430855 is energized-to-trip type, 400–480VAC rated, with built-in surge suppression and simple screw terminal wiring. It can be retrofitted on-site and only works when the breaker is in ON position.

Principle

When the shunt coil receives valid AC voltage signal, electromagnetic force releases the breaker latch mechanism and opens the main contacts. It is commonly wired to fire control panel or emergency stop circuit for remote fault isolation.
