GE RT4P Relay Module
Description
GE RT4P Relay Module
Overview
The RT4P is a marked GE relay module for discrete signal switching and interlock control inside MCC cabinets and automation skids. The suffix P generally indicates plug-in type. It receives digital trigger signals from sensors or PLC, and drives contactor, indicator or safety interlock circuits. Public official datasheet is unavailable.
Features
The RT4P adopts pluggable socket design for fast replacement.RT4P provides multi-pole relay contact output for low voltage control circuit. LED status indicator for on-site fault checking. Wide auxiliary supply voltage range and EMC protection for industrial environment. Compact size for DIN rail mounting.
Specs
Device Type: Pluggable Relay Module Model: GE RT4P Brand: GE (marked) Mounting: DIN rail with socket Form: Plug-in relay Status: Non-standard part number, limited public technical data
Principle
The RT4P receives control signal, energizes the internal coil and closes the relay contacts. When the control signal is removed, the contacts open, switching the secondary control circuit to realize interlock and sequence logic.
Applications
The RT4P is used for pump, fan and conveyor sequential control in legacy GE automation, power distribution and process control cabinets. The RT4P is stocked as spare replacement for matching original equipment.
