Overview

Principle

The GE GSTR024DS uses optocoupler to isolate the control signal and trigger power semiconductor devices. When the 24 VDC control signal is present, the internal semiconductor switch turns on to conduct the load circuit; when the control signal disappears, the switch turns off. It avoids contact wear and arc phenomena of traditional mechanical relays.
