Description
ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI Contactor
Overview
The ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI is an IEC contactor from the CAB6 series with electronic controlled coil. The suffix EI stands for electronic coil interface, different from conventional coil variants. It is rated AC-3 105 A, suitable for switching three-phase motors and resistive loads. The electronic coil design provides stable pull-in and drop-out thresholds, avoiding contactor chatter under fluctuating control voltage. It is widely used in MCC cabinets, packaging automation, process skids and legacy Sprecher+Schuh control systems.
Features
The ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI is equipped with electronic coil control.CAB6-105-EI features defined pull-in and drop-out points, anti-chatter performance for unstable control supply. AC-3 rating 105 A, 3-pole main contact configuration. Finger-safe IP20 terminal blocks available as accessory. Compatible with auxiliary contact blocks, surge suppressors and mechanical interlocks. Compact metal housing, compliant with IEC 60947-4-1. No cadmium, asbestos or PCB materials.
Specs
Device Type: IEC Contactor with Electronic Coil Model: ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI Brand: Allen‑Bradley (Sprecher+Schuh) Series: CAB6 AC-3 rated current: 105 A Poles: 3 main poles Coil type: Electronic coil (EI suffix) Standard: IEC 60947-4-1 Mounting: DIN rail or screw mounting
Principle
The ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI uses internal electronic regulation for the coil. When the control signal is applied, the circuit stabilizes the coil voltage to guarantee reliable pull-in. When the control signal is removed, the unit releases at a defined threshold, preventing chatter and extending contact life.
Applications
The ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI is used for motor switching, heater and compressor control in industrial MCC panels, chemical skids, water treatment and machine automation. The ALLEN BRADLEY CAB6-105-EI is stocked as spare replacement for legacy CAB6 contactor systems.
