Description

KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 Incremental Rotary Encoder

Overview

The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 is an incremental rotary encoder from Kubler 5000 series, designed for industrial rotation, speed and position feedback. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 outputs A/B phase and zero index Z pulse signals with 2500 pulses per revolution. It adopts solid shaft construction and reliable optical sensing technology, suitable for continuous operation on motors, conveyors and machine axes. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 delivers stable signal quality and strong anti-interference capability for PLC, servo and frequency inverter closed-loop control systems.

Features

The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 provides 2500 PPR resolution with A, B, Z channel output. It supports long-term stable pulse transmission for speed measurement and position counting. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 uses compact metal housing and good vibration resistance for workshop environments. It supports standard 5V line driver output compatible with many industrial control cards. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 has standard mounting flange and shaft size for easy mechanical fitting.

Specs

Device Type: Incremental rotary encoder Model: KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500Series: 5000 series Resolution: 2500 pulses per revolution Signal Channels: A, B, Z Output Type: Line driver Shaft Type: Solid shaft Supply Voltage: 5 VDC Enclosure: Metal housing Protection Grade: IP54 Application: Industrial motion feedback

Principle

The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 rotates synchronously with the driving shaft. The internal optical disc and receiver generate phase-shifted A/B pulses and a Z reference pulse per revolution. The control system judges rotation direction from A/B phase sequence and calculates speed and position by counting pulses. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 sends pulse signals to the upper controller for closed-loop motion regulation.

Applications

The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 is used for speed and position feedback of servo motors and frequency-driven machinery. It serves conveyor, printing, packaging and textile equipment motion monitoring. The KUBLER 8.5000.8341.2500 applies to spare replacement and maintenance of existing Kubler encoder feedback loops. It also works for test bench rotation measurement and length calculation systems.
