Overview

Principle

The GE GUVT400AS receives medium voltage primary signal from the power circuit. The internal transformer reduces the high voltage to safe low-level secondary voltage. The sampled signal is sent to protection relays and measuring instruments for calculation and judgment. When abnormal voltage appears on the primary side, the GE GUVT400AS transfers the voltage variation to the protection unit to trigger corresponding alarm or trip action.
