Principle

The LEMAG FM25C160 receives pulse signals from the fuel flow sensor and torque-speed transducer on the propeller shaft. The internal processor calculates instantaneous fuel consumption and shaft power based on sampled signal values. It compares the fuel consumption rate with power output to derive specific fuel consumption data.
