TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A

Description

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A

Overview

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A is a power transducer from the Toyo Keiki GM series, designed for three-phase four-wire power measurement and conversion. It samples voltage and current signals from LV power circuits and converts active power signals into standard analog or pulse output for SCADA, power monitoring and annunciator systems. It is widely supplied as exchange spare for distribution panels, generator control cabinets and power monitoring cabinet overhaul and replacement.

Features

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A is designated for 3-phase 4-wire systems, supporting active power measurement. It provides isolated analog output (4-20mA / 0-10V) or pulse output for energy accumulation. The unit isolates the primary power circuit from secondary signal side to reduce noise interference and ground loop issues. It can be equipped with optional limit alarm function for high/low power threshold warning.

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A has multiple auxiliary power options, including wide-range AC/DC free power supply versions. Onboard status LEDs indicate power supply and signal output activity for quick on-site inspection. Calibration is completed via internal trim potentiometers. It complies with Japanese JIS and IEC measurement and EMC standards for power monitoring applications.

Specs

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43APlatform: Toyo Keiki GM transducer series Type: three-phase four-wire active power transducer Model: EGM-43A Measured circuit: 3-phase 4-wire Measuring parameter: active power Output options: analog 4-20mA / 0-10V, pulse output for energy Isolation: primary to secondary galvanic isolation Mounting: DIN rail mounting inside control cabinet Protection rating: IP20 This is not a current transformer, meter or relay; it is a power transducer for low-voltage power monitoring. TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A is widely supplied as service replacement spare for power measurement signal conversion failure.

Principle

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A receives voltage and current signals from instrument CTs and PTs. The internal computation circuit calculates three-phase active power. The measured value is converted into proportional analog current/voltage or pulse signal. The isolated output signal is sent to PLC, recorder or energy counter for data acquisition and upper monitoring.

Applications

TOYO KEIKI EGM-43A is deployed for building power distribution, factory main feeders, generator monitoring and substation power supervisory systems. It is selected for spare inventory and power cabinet retrofit projects for existing Toyo Keiki GM transducer systems.
