Overview

ECOSTAR 103329-XAB is a main control PCB assembly for Ecostar (Hörmann Ecostar) garage door and gate operator systems. It serves as the central logic and drive interface board for residential and commercial sectional doors, rolling shutters and sliding gate motors, widely supplied as exchange spare for gate operator cabinet overhaul and controller replacement.

Features

ECOSTAR 103329-XAB processes signals from safety photocells, safety edges, external push buttons, key switches and radio receiver modules. It executes opening/closing sequence logic, soft start and soft stop ramp control, obstacle detection and anti-crush protection to comply with EN 12453 gate safety standards. It supports adjustable force limit to reduce impact risk and automatic reversal upon obstruction detection.

ECOSTAR 103329-XAB has built-in terminals for fire alarm interlock, lock release and status relay outputs for BMS integration. Onboard LED indicators display power, receiver signal, safety input status and fault codes for quick on-site troubleshooting. Travel limits, force sensitivity, hold-open time and remote channel configuration are adjusted via onboard buttons or Ecostar programming remote. It works with compatible rolling-code RF receivers for remote control operation. It follows CE and EMC requirements for outdoor gate enclosure installation.

Principle

ECOSTAR 103329-XAB continuously monitors safety circuits and trigger commands from remotes or hardwired switches. When an open/close command is received and no safety obstruction is detected, the board outputs regulated drive signals to the gate motor. If the safety edge or photocell detects an obstacle during movement, the controller immediately stops the motor and reverses direction. Fault logs and configuration parameters are stored on the board for service review.
