FUJI BW630RAG

Description

FUJI BW630RAG

Overview

FUJI BW630RAG is a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) from Fuji Electric G-TWIN series, 630AF frame size. This high-breaking-capacity thermomagnetic circuit breaker is widely used for DC solar PV, energy storage and low-voltage AC distribution feeder protection, widely supplied as exchange spare for solar combiner cabinets, battery storage systems, main switchboards and industrial power panel overhaul and replacement.

Features

FUJI BW630RAG integrates bimetallic thermal overload protection and instantaneous magnetic short-circuit protection. The thermal element provides inverse-time overload protection for cables and downstream loads; the magnetic trip delivers rapid clearing for short-circuit faults. It supports a complete range of optional accessories, including auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release, motor operator and rotary handle for remote operation and door interlock.

FUJI BW630RAG is available in 3-pole and 4-pole versions. The 3-pole variant supports DC up to 750 V, while the 4-pole version supports DC up to 1000 V, making it suitable for solar string and battery circuit protection. The front operating handle provides clear ON/OFF/TRIP status indication for quick site inspection. It supports selective coordination with upstream and downstream protective devices and complies with IEC 60947-2 and EMC standards.

Specs

FUJI BW630RAGPlatform: Fuji Electric G-TWIN series Frame size: BW630 Catalog number: BW630RAG Rated frame: 630 AF Rated current In: 500 A / 600 A / 630 A DC rating: 3P up to 750 VDC; 4P up to 1000 VDC Trip unit: thermal-magnetic Standard poles: 3-pole / 4-pole Mounting: fixed mounting inside switchgear cabinet Protection rating: IP20 (circuit breaker body) This is a complete molded case circuit breaker, not a contactor, overload relay or DC drive. FUJI BW630RAG is widely supplied as service replacement spare for PV and distribution feeder protection failure.

Principle

FUJI BW630RAG carries load current through internal bimetallic strip and magnetic coil. Under sustained overload, accumulated heat deforms the bimetallic strip and triggers inverse-time mechanical trip. When short-circuit current flows, the magnetic coil generates instant electromagnetic force to release the trip latch and separate main contacts rapidly. After tripping, the handle locks in the TRIP position and requires manual reset before re-closing.

Applications

FUJI BW630RAG is deployed for solar PV combiner boxes, energy storage battery circuits, industrial low-voltage distribution feeders and power plant main switchboards. It is selected for spare inventory and switchgear retrofit projects for existing Fuji G-TWIN protection systems.
