Description
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB
Overview
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB is an insulation fault location tester for IT ungrounded power systems, designed to work in conjunction with insulation monitoring devices. It can pinpoint the branch circuit where insulation fault occurs when the IMD triggers an alarm, widely supplied as exchange spare for hospital isolated power panels, mining, marine and industrial critical IT distribution cabinet overhaul and replacement.
Features
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB adopts pulse signal injection tracing principle. After the insulation monitor detects earth leakage and sends trigger signal, this device injects identification signal into the IT network. Matching current clamps pick up the characteristic signal on each outgoing feeder to locate the faulty branch. It supports single fault location, and will not interfere with normal operation of VFDs and capacitive network loads.
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB is equipped with operation buttons and status indicators for local activation and working status check. It provides relay output contacts to interlock with the insulation monitoring host. It supports manual trigger test function to verify the signal injection loop integrity. Fault location results can be viewed on the supporting handheld receiver. It complies with IEC 61557-9 standard and EMC immunity requirements for power room environments, with IP20 protection rating for DIN rail mounting.
Specs
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PBBrand: AOJ Type: insulation fault locator transmitter Model: AOJ-1SC-PB Applicable system: IT ungrounded AC power network Function: signal injection for insulation fault tracing Cooperated device: insulation monitoring device (IMD) Auxiliary supply: AC220V standard Output: test signal injection, relay contact Mounting: DIN TH35 rail Protection rating: IP20 This is not an insulation monitor or circuit breaker; it is the signal transmitting unit for insulation fault location system. AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB is widely supplied as service replacement spare for IT earth fault tracing system failure.
Principle
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB receives the insulation fault alarm signal from the IMD, then injects a special low-frequency test signal between the monitored network and earth. The signal flows through the insulation fault path. The handheld current sensor clamps on each feeder cable and detects the signal, so maintenance staff can quickly confirm which branch has insulation degradation. After fault elimination, the device stops injection automatically.
Applications
AOJ AOJ-1SC-PB is deployed for hospital isolated power supply, underground mining distribution, marine on-board IT power and industrial uninterrupted process IT circuits. It is selected for spare inventory and switchgear retrofit projects for existing AOJ insulation fault location systems.
