Principle

ROSEMOUNT 3051CD2A02A1AM5BAI1H2L404 receives high-side and low-side pressure from impulse piping. The internal capacitance sensor converts differential pressure into an electrical signal. The electronics module compensates for static pressure and temperature drift, then converts the calibrated measurement to 4–20mA analog signal and HART digital values. The HART host system reads process variables, sensor temperature and diagnostic status. If overpressure, sensor drift or communication failure occurs, the transmitter asserts NAMUR-compliant alarm saturation levels for DCS/SCADA interlock and alarm logging.
