SEW-Eurodrive 3.7kW 5CV 220/380V 60Hz

This 5CV is a classic old-series SEW asynchronous geared motor unit, rated power 3.7kW, dual voltage 220V delta / 380V star, 60Hz power grid version. This 5CV adopts modular helical gear reducer + three-phase induction motor integrated structure, supports foot-mounted or flange mounting. The 5CV series is the legacy predecessor of the current R series gearmotors, widely used in South America and old production lines.

This 3.7kW 5CV can be configured with DC brake, incremental encoder, backstop and protection cover. Insulation class F, IP54 standard enclosure, optional IP65. It can run direct-on-line or match SEW MOVITRAC / MOVIDRIVE inverters for variable speed control. The terminal block supports manual switching between delta 220V and star 380V wiring for 60Hz power supply. The suffix code defines gear ratio, mounting form, brake and encoder options.

The 5CV series has been discontinued by SEW, replaced by modern DRN / DRE + R series gearmotors. Most available 3.7kW 5CV 220/380V 60Hz units are tested surplus spare parts for conveyor, packaging, lifting and mixer drive overhaul and emergency replacement. Gear ratio and brake parameters must be confirmed before replacement.
