SEW-EURODRIVE 3×380–500V Inverter

The 380–500V AC is the main three-phase supply voltage range for SEW-EURODRIVE cabinet and decentralized inverters, covering MOVITRAC, MOVIDRIVE and MOVIMOT series. This 500V class drive supports asynchronous motors, synchronous servo motors and LSPM reluctance motors, widely used in material handling, packaging, crane and conveyor systems.

This 500V variant accepts 3-phase AC 380–500V ±10%, 50/60Hz input. It provides V/f, VFC, CFC and ELSM control modes. STO safe torque off is standard for most models. Optional communication interfaces include PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP and PROFIBUS. Commissioning and parameter backup are done via MOVITOOLS MotionStudio software. It includes built-in motor overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and stall protection.

The MOVIMOT is decentralized inverter mounted directly on gearmotor, IP65, power range 0.37–4kW. The MOVITRAC is cost-effective cabinet inverter for simple encoderless asynchronous motor control. The MOVIDRIVE B / MOVIDRIVE modular is high-performance single-axis and multi-axis servo drive, supporting high dynamic positioning, electronic cam and flying shear.

The SEW-EURODRIVE 500V drives are widely adopted in logistics, food machinery, automotive production lines and mining conveyors. Many automation maintenance teams stock these inverters as spare parts for production line retrofit and emergency replacement.
