ABB SACE Emax E2S 800A air circuit breaker 690V Icw 65kA 1s drawout ACB PR123 LSIG protection low voltage main incoming breaker

Description

ABB SACE EMAX E2S 800A 690V Icw 65kA/1s

The E2S is a drawout air circuit breaker from the classic ABB SACE Emax series, rated continuous current 800A, rated operational voltage 690V AC, rated short-time withstand current Icw=65kA for 1 second. This E2S supports 3-pole or 4-pole configuration, available with PR121, PR122, PR123 electronic trip units, delivering LI, LSI or LSIG adjustable protection for overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and earth fault protection. The S defines short-circuit performance grade, and the suffix code specifies breaking capacity, terminal type, accessory and trip unit configuration for this variant.

This E2S 800A adopts spring stored-energy operating mechanism, supporting local manual operation and optional motor operator for remote electrical closing and tripping. It has connected, test and isolated positions for safe maintenance without disconnecting busbars. It can be fitted with auxiliary contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release and communication modules for Modbus power measurement, fault records and breaker status upload to SCADA and energy management systems. It complies with IEC 60947-2 standard.

The E2S is widely used in industrial substations, power plants and large factory low voltage main switchboards. The classic Emax platform is discontinued by ABB, succeeded by the newer Emax 2 series. Most available E2S 800A units are tested surplus spare parts for panel retrofit and emergency replacement of legacy low voltage switchgear.
