ABB SACE EMAX E2B/MS20 2000A 690V Uimp 12kV

The E2B/MS is a switch-disconnector from ABB SACE Emax 2 series, rated continuous current 2000A, rated operational voltage 690V AC, rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp=12kV. This E2B/MS (MS means switch-disconnector, no overcurrent trip unit) is available in 3-pole or 4-pole configuration, fixed or withdrawable version. It provides visible isolation gap and is used for main incoming and busbar isolation in low voltage distribution systems. The suffix 20 refers to the 2000A frame rating.

This E2B/MS 2000A complies with IEC 60947-3, AC-23A utilization category. It can be fitted with motor operator, auxiliary contacts, shunt release and undervoltage release for remote electrical opening and closing. Rear horizontal or front terminal options are selectable. It supports optional communication modules to send breaker status to SCADA and energy management systems. Withdrawable models have connected, test and isolated positions for safe maintenance without disconnecting busbars.

The E2B/MS is widely used in industrial substations, power plants, data centers and large commercial low voltage switchrooms.
