NGE01 is a rack-mounted CNC axis control module manufactured by Grundig, designed exclusively for Deckel Dialog 11 and Dialog 12 milling machine CNC systems. It executes axis interpolation, motion command decoding and servo signal transmission between CNC main processor and servo drive units. Widely deployed on legacy Deckel machining centers and milling equipment for metal cutting and workpiece machining. It is an end-of-life spare part for old German CNC machine tools.

This module adopts standard VME-style rack card structure with IP20 protection class for cabinet installation. It receives motion setpoints from CNC mainboard, generates high-speed pulse and direction signals to control servo amplifiers for linear and rotary axes. It also collects encoder feedback signals, compares command position and actual position to implement closed-loop position control. It supports multi-axis coordinated movement, linear interpolation and circular interpolation required for contour machining.

Multiple LED indicators are arranged on the front panel to display power status, command output, encoder feedback and fault alarms. Maintenance technicians can quickly judge axis communication failures, feedback loss or overload alarms during on-site troubleshooting. Built-in signal filtering circuit suppresses electromagnetic interference generated by servo drives and contactors, maintaining stable motion performance in heavy cutting workshop environments. The module has integrated overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection to prevent permanent hardware damage caused by abnormal field signals. Operating temperature range is 0~55℃, suitable for continuous long-running CNC workshop conditions.

NGE01 is obsolete Grundig CNC spare part. Many legacy Deckel machining centers still rely on Dialog 11/12 CNC platform with NGE01 axis control boards.
