Detailed Description PCI1500S7 belongs to Applicom PCI1500 series industrial fieldbus adapter card, PCI 2.2 universal short card, single PCI slot, 5V PCI bus power supply. This card focuses on MPI/S7 master communication for Siemens S7-300 / S7-400 PLC, supports MPI up to 187.5kbps, PPI for S7-200 and FDL protocol for old S5 PLC. Different from PCI1500PFB, PCI1500S7 is optimized for S7 MPI communication without full PROFIBUS DP master function. It adopts independent onboard ASPC2 processor and built-in memory, offloads communication task from host PC CPU.

The card is equipped with 9pin D-Sub RS485 galvanically isolated MPI port, two LED indicators for bus activity and fault diagnosis. It uses Applicom PCConf configuration software to set station address, baud rate and data mapping. It supplies OPC server, DDE, ActiveX and DLL development interface, compatible with old SCADA software, LabVIEW and custom Windows applications. Supported operating systems are Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
