Detailed Description PC1500PFB is an old ISA bus PROFIBUS master interface card manufactured by Applicom (later acquired by Woodhead / Molex). It is designed for legacy industrial PC with ISA slot, used to connect PC to PROFIBUS fieldbus network, acting as PROFIBUS DP master to exchange real-time data with Siemens S7 PLC and other PROFIBUS slave devices. Onboard dedicated i960 processor handles fieldbus communication independently, reducing host CPU load. Max baud rate 1.5Mbps, supports PROFIBUS DP, FDL, S7 protocol, PPI/PPI+. It provides OPC server, DDE, ActiveX and DLL interface for SCADA, LabVIEW, HMI upper software data access. Widely applied in old chemical, metallurgy, packaging continuous production line PC monitoring stations.

This card uses ISA bus, requires IRQ and DPRAM memory address configuration via setup tool PCConf. PROFIBUS terminal port with bus termination resistor. Onboard LED indicators show power, bus activity and communication fault for fast on-site troubleshooting. Supports multiple cards installed in one industrial PC, assign unique board ID for multi-channel PROFIBUS network. Compatible with old Windows OS: Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
