Detailed Description SPPLAXF1 belongs to Honeywell Sensepoint Plus fixed gas detector series, designed for explosive hazardous areas to continuously monitor combustible methane gas concentration. The measuring range is 0~100% LEL (lower explosive limit). It adopts catalytic bead sensing element, stable long-term drift performance, fast response for gas leakage alarm. Powered by DC12~30V, standard 4–20mA analog signal output, can connect to gas alarm controller, PLC and DCS system for remote concentration display and interlock control. Widely applied in petrochemical plants, gas compressor stations, sewage treatment plants, boiler rooms and other Class I hazardous locations.

This transmitter is explosion-proof housing construction, ATEX certified II 2 G Ex d IIC T4, suitable for Zone1 and Zone2 explosive gas environments. Thread options: 3/4" NPT or M20×1.5. IP67 protection grade, dust-tight and water resistant, working temperature -25℃ ~ +55℃. Onboard local status LED indicates normal, pre-alarm, high alarm and fault status. Built-in sensor fault self-check function, will output fault current signal when sensor failure or circuit abnormality occurs. Optional local magnetic non-intrusive calibration, no need to open explosion-proof cover during on-site zero/span adjustment.

Built-in protection includes overvoltage, reverse polarity protection, sensor failure diagnostic. When gas concentration exceeds preset threshold, the system can trigger exhaust fan, shut-off valve and audible & visual alarm to prevent explosion risk.
