TSX-T3170 (TSXT3170) is a portable handheld programming terminal developed for Schneider Modicon TSX Micro series PLC. It adopts compact handheld industrial housing, equipped with small monochrome LCD display and full membrane numeric/function keypad. Powered from the PLC side through dedicated connection cable, no separate external power supply required. It can work independently without laptop on site, to read/write PLC program, monitor register and bit status, force I/O, view alarm codes and execute online debugging for TSX Micro controllers. Widely applied for maintenance and commissioning of old packaging machines, textile equipment and material handling automation systems based on TSX Micro platform.

This handheld terminal communicates with TSX Micro PLC through proprietary Uni-Telway interface. It supports basic online operations: ladder monitoring, variable real-time viewing, I/O forcing, program upload/download and fault code inquiry. The keypad includes function shortcut keys for quick page switching and parameter modification. It is mainly used as temporary commissioning/maintenance tool, not designed for continuous long-time operation as formal HMI.
