Detailed Description JX6-BASE-1 (also named JX6-BASIS-1) is a single-slot base rack/housing developed by Jetter for the JetControl 647 series control system. It is specially designed to accommodate one JC647-MC motion control CPU module, providing mechanical fixation, backplane connection and power distribution for the controller. This compact base unit is easy for cabinet installation, and it reserves wiring terminals and indicator window for the inserted CPU. The matched JC647-MC is a high-performance integrated motion control CPU, supporting up to 24 servo axes with high-precision interpolation, electronic cam, electronic gear and CNC contouring functions. The complete set is widely applied in packaging machines, printing equipment, textile machinery and automated handling systems demanding complex multi-axis synchronized motion.
JC647-MC motion controller is equipped with rich communication interfaces including 10/100Mbps Ethernet, RS232 and dual RS485 ports. It supports JetSym programming environment with ST/STX high-level programming language. Built-in program memory is 256KB, with large 32-bit register space for motion parameters and production data. The controller integrates 16 digital onboard I/O points, and can expand more digital/analog modules via JX6 series I/O bus or CANopen. It supports real-time clock and battery backup for retaining motion programs and recipe data after power loss. It can execute point-to-point positioning, linear interpolation, circular interpolation, flying shear and follow-up cutting, meeting complex continuous motion requirements of high-speed machinery.
JX6-BASE-1 provides stable mechanical protection and backplane bus connection for JC647-MC. The whole system has IP20 protection grade for cabinet installation, operating temperature range 0~55℃. LED status indicators on front panel show power, run and fault status for fast on-site diagnosis. Built-in watchdog circuit prevents system crash caused by electromagnetic interference. The modular structure allows users to replace CPU or base housing separately for maintenance.
JX6-BASE-1 and JC647-MC are discontinued legacy Jetter automation spare parts. Many old high-speed production machines still adopt JetControl647 motion control platform.
